We bought this car seat several months ago after much research. It seemed like it was one of the safest car seats out there, and after testing this one and a few others in a store, I decided this one was my favorite (one reason being that I could not get the Britax seats to recline, a problem I had with my son 7 years ago). Well, this Friday this seat was put to the test. Our truck went off the road at 75mph and rolled several times, totaling the truck. My baby's door was ripped away and the roof was crushed. All she had was a cut on her head! This car seat (and God) protected her so well! Somehow all of us walked away with only minor injuries, but she had fewer than any of us! We will be ordering another one of these for sure! ETA ~ I just wanted to add that after telling Chicco about our accident, they sent a new car seat for free! All we had to do was send the old one back for review. We love Chicco!
