I hate chemicals, but I hate Lyme's disease more
I don't like chemicals. My garden is completely organic and I plant plants that attract bees and butterflies. I love nature. That's why I started a Ladies Hike Club. We hike every Sunday. It was the hikes that made me buy Premethrin. I was finding 2-3 ticks on my body after every hike. I know enough people with Lyme's disease that I KNEW I had to do something. So I did my research. It turns out that Permethrin is a very large molecule with zero absorption rate through the skin once it is dry. This product is meant to be sprayed liberally on your clothing, especially your pants, socks and shoes. It doesn't stain and it dries quickly. Be sure to spray nowhere near cats, bees or butterflies (I sprayed in the middle of my driveway). Although this spray lasts for 3-4 washings, I set my hiking pants aside. I don't wash them. I hang them up and wear them every time I hike. Oh...and they keep the mosquitoes away too!
