Pros: This is a great compact composter. It's size and tidiness makes it great for apartment dwellers. Small and clean enough that nosy neighbors or over zealous landlords won't notice or take issue with it. Can't over state how clean and discrete. The rotary function and interior tines make it so you can flip your compost really easily in a few seconds with no effort. Mixes really well, and large mouth allows for easy loading. Very well built, with thick plastic and tightly fitting parts. Anyone with descent mobility should be able to put it together with only a screwdriver Cons: Know that this isn't a large device by any means, It comes up to about my waist at the top. Even normal kitchen waste and coffee grounds can overwhelm it. I have had it for two weeks and it is full. Don't expect to be able to put lawn waste or even everything from a busy kitchen. Given the chance I would have bought the double.( If Miracle-Gro is looking for a reviewer for this, I'm down) This is conjecture, but it seems to have an Achilles heel in the design. The plastic clips the hold it together seem flimsy and prone to UV damage. I think the 27.7gal one would be worse. If they do a second model I would use bolts and nuts instead. I added a chain of zip ties around the whole thing and am now confident it will last a long time.
