I found it difficult to ascertain what exactly came with this purchase so I'll spell it out here and hopefully it will help anyone else in that position. When you order the 3-piece kit, you get 3 strips of lights, a wall adapter, mounting clips with screws, and all the cabling needed for short runs. One of the cables is an optional RF receiver so they can be controlled with the remote control. They are pretty bright. Three of them added a ton of light to my kitchen. Each light is about 12" x 1" and pretty thin. I debated getting the 6-pack, and running two strips side-by-side under each of my cabinets, but I'm glad I went with 3 because twice as much light would be completely unnecessary. In fact, they're bright enough that early in the morning I only use 50% to 75% maximum brightness. The color is neutral-warm. The light cast on the countertops has a distinct edge, as opposed to the light gradually fading away. The color at the edge transition is irregular with a washed-out red shade, so if you're really picky about the light being even, that may be an issue. You can connect lights by butting them end-to-end and using the small adapter, or by spacing them apart and using the 2 cables. The cables are about 20" long. The remote is RF, so you do not need a direct line of sight to the receiver, just within range. The remote allows you to toggle on/off, adjust the dim level, and turn on a bunch of crazy flashing patterns that I can't imagine anyone ever seriously using. Overall, they look good and install easily. I recommend getting them with these cable clamps if you need to secure the cabling. They also offer longer cables if you need them. The cables are not proprietary, so any cable with a 3.5 mm connector will work - just make sure you get the appropriate gender of connectors.
