Conquered kite eating tree
My grandson managed to allow his sister's kite to be captured by my viscous kite eating tree, at it's highest point. It was impossible to reach by any method short of a rocket launcher. With the aid of a ladder to climb to the peak of my roof, I was just barely able to reach the kite. And with the 90 degree bend at the end of the pole I managed to hook onto the string, and after a 5 minute tussle with the ribbon that had secured itself around several branches, I freed it from its month long imprisonment. And after replacing the ribbon, it should be good to fly. All thanks to the extension pole.
