Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

For starters, once installed the WIFI extender really works well. My speed tests are better than they have ever been. They amazingly even surpass my computer attached directly to the router via Ethernet. The installation instructions are not as clear as they might be so I had to do some experimentation to get the WIFI connection to work. I thought I would be able to use my same wifi address but I could not. I had to re-configure all devices to the wifi address of the extender. No big deal. I wanted to be able to use the extender as an access point, connecting it directly to the router via an ethernet cable. While this is possible, there are no instructions for how to do this either with the extender or on the NextBox website. I did contact NextBox via email and they responded right away. While I am still struggling with getting the extender configured as an access point, for most people with a less complex setup than mine, this is a fine product that exceeded my expectations.
