Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I ordered the gray and white "flower" cat cave. The background is slightly off-white and it has a gray flower-ish pattern around the opening and big gray dots over the outside. I got the medium thinking it would be a little big for a kitten we are getting and she could grow into it but I fully expected to need to buy a larger one later for her. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by how big the medium is. For one large cat it's very roomy. We'll be bringing a Maine Coon kitten home in a couple more weeks and even she won't outgrow this cat cave. Besides that, this cat cave is really well made. It's thick, felted wool. I'd guess at least a 1/4" thick. Very sturdy. It comes folded flat and package in tight plastic wrap so I really wondered when I got it if if would be cheap looking. No way. When I opened the package and unfolded it and then stuck my hands inside the cave to mold it to a rounded shape, it easily held that shape on its own. It's been sitting on the floor for a week and hasn't lost its shape. If the cat lays on top of it, it will flatter out of course but she can easily push herself inside the opening and it will be a cave again. I think this cat cave is a great deal and it's something that will last for years. I'm excited to get our kitten home and see what she thinks of it!
