Just got these on 5/4, but noticed that the build quality is as good as my year old ham BaoFeng handi-talkie. One thing I want to post ASAP - order the cable! Use only the USB driver on the disc. Then download CHIRP (open source - free) radio programming software. Had frequencies changed and file created in 5 minutes. Loaded all 6 radios with new program in 10 minutes. Unboxing and prepping each radio took 10 times longer than the actual programming of the radios. If you use them with the frequencies programmed, you will not only violate the law but you may interfere with public safety operations.
