Granted I haven't had this long, so I don't know the durability. But EVERYTHING else is excellent. This is an extremely well thought out product. It has exactly the features I wanted in this size flashlight. In addition to a normal, but high powered and long range flashlight function, which we need here in the country, it has other great features: > The handle adjusts to straighten out, so in major high powered long range flashlight mode you can comfortably hold and move it around. > In lantern mode it will light only the front 180 degrees so you can use it for gentle illumination while walking or to only light 1/2 of a room. > Also in lantern mode it will give you 360 illumination, great for a tent or small patio > It has red flashing lights around the bottom so if you're walking on a dark road at night, you wont just look like another ill defined white light, you'll clearly be warning people. > In addition to being able to be recharged in all of the normal ways - you can reverse the USB cord and use it to give your cell phone some extra battery life - which could be a life saver. > It's lighter than the only flashlights that use the big square 9volt batteries. To my mind, this is the best designed most useful flashlight I've ever bought. And I've bought a lot of them. In fact several flashlights are being tossed today and I'm going to buy a few more of these.
