Now I know why even the negative reviews of these sheets are still kinda positive. These are everything a sheet geek like me is looking for in a cool, crisp sheet. Rather than repeat other reviews’ praises, I’ll only note to the discerning buyer that there are 2 types of ‘crisp’ sheet: winter-crisp (heavier, and more solid feeling) and summer-crisp (much lighter, and ideally a bit softer). These summer-crisp sheets are remarkable because crispness usually sacrifices softness until the sheets have been washed a few times. Wash these once and you’re good to go; for max softness, let warm water at least half-fill your empty washer drum, stir in 1-cup baking soda and then ½ cup vinegar, then toss in the sheets and wash normal cycle, without detergent.
