I have a lot of difficulty finding skin care products, as my eyes are irritated by the use of most. With DHC's formulations, I've had more success. A few weeks ago, I tried their Platinum Silver Nanocolloid Cream and was very pleased, but after experimenting with a sample of Astaxanthin Gel, the results were so fantastic, I couldn't resist ordering a full sized jar. My skin is very sensitive and dry. Nothing I've used in the past has been able to maintain enough moisture to prevent dry, rough areas from returning after several hours, even though I use a gentle exfoliating mask several times a week. So, I've been amazed by this gel's ability to do just that. I pat on a generous amount morning and night, after cleansing and the application is extremely soothing and absorbs very quickly. I find the texture to actually be a cross between a gel and a cream. My skin remains soft and smooth all night and into the next morning. I can't report on any actual changes in appearance, as I've only used this product a few days. Some reviewers commented on the scent, but I haven't noticed anything unpleasant. The jar holds a rather large amount of gel, compared to many other moisturizers I've purchased. I'm very happy I placed this order and would give a lot more than five stars, if I could.
