I purchased this ladder to replace the Intex ladder that was included in the 12'x24' Ultra Frame kit that I purchased. This ladder is much more stable than the included ladder and we all feel much better using the ladder now. The Intex ladder is only 13" wide between the supports whereas this ladder is 18" wide between the supports. Although it is not specifically recommended for use with Intex pools because it can't be fastened down to the top railing, I feel much safer using this ladder. While Confer is probably trying to be conservative and not recommending it's use, I can't believe Intex gets away with including their ladder in their package. I included a pic that shows the two ladders side by side to see the size difference. I am taking one star off because I agree with others that it should be a little easier to put together.
