I have purchased numerous types of mops and buckets and always have to rinse, wring and change water to avoid mopping with dirty water. I have about 500 sq. ft. of tile floor downstairs and live in the mountains where it's almost impossible to keep from tracking dirt. I also have a dog and the mop-head cleaner seems to pick-up the fur and transfer it to the dirty water just fine. This X3 mop and bucket set is great. It's smaller than I thought, so that makes it easy to store and move around as I mop. The pads are super and easy to wash and use. The instructions could be better on how to fit the heads onto the base, but simple once you figure it out,. Fitting the mop-head into the cleaning slot is tight and takes a little finesse, but not that difficult. This unit wouldn't take a lot of rough handling, like forcing the fit, but not a problem and it really does clean and transfer the dirt into the separate side of the bucket. It takes very little clean water (I add floor cleaner to the mix) to do my entire floor and I don't have to add, or change the water before I'm done. Even after cleaning the mop-head, it still retains a little dirt, but not enough to make a big difference. If that was a concern, you could always change to a new cloth since they are so easy to wash, by hand, or throw into the washing machine. It really does eliminate the rinsing and wringing mess, and the rotating head makes it easy to reach corners and narrow areas. I am more than pleased and feel it was well worth the $$.
