I had a swarm of pet mosquitoes that I used to feed every night. I bought this chemical so that my beloved mosquitoes would not catch Lyme Disease from the deer ticks in our back yard. I sprayed according to the directions, and now all my pet mosquitoes are dead. Granted, I don't have ticks or ants either, but this stuff is non selective and will kill your mosquitoes too. Kidding aside, this stuff works well for the rapid knockdown of mosquitoes. I mix it in a tank sprayer with Talstar Pro (Bifenthren IT). The combination of these two chemicals provides rapid knockdown of the mosquitoes from the Permethrin, and residual killing power from the Talstar. I also used this to treat clothing (Permethrin only - not an approved use, but you can find instructions - pay attention, this stuff is 36.8% not the typical 10%). If I am going to be outside with guests, I mix this the fogging liquid for my propane fogger and fog my yard an hour or so beforehand. This Permethrin is oil based, so it will mix with the fogging oil (black flag) and not gum up your propane fogger. It does have a strong petroleum odor, so spray well before guests show up. This stuff is TOXIC to cats while wet. Keep fluffy in the house until this stuff dries and they will be fine. It is not toxic to dogs or rabbits. I only use this outdoors because of the odor. For indoors (ant) I use straight Talsar (no odor, and non toxic to humans). Go get em!
