First seeing these upon opening the parcel, they looked cheep, flimsy, and too huge. Was ALMOST disappointed... On the contrary, they actually hold up quite well to my 2 month old baby's spit up and vomit moments. Also, it fits more snug than I thought it would. I have a standard sized sleep number pillow with the same brand cooling pillow protector. Over those, I have this waterproof cover, and a jersey knit pillowcase over that. All the same size (standard), and total of 3 layers over my pillow. Makes everything nice, puff, and taught. Once zipped up, it does fill up a little with air, but it feels like a nice fluffy full pillow, which I love. When my head falls onto it, it deflates in a very satisfactory way (like its contouring to my noggin). Only downside I can think of, is that it crinkles sort of like a windbreaker coat (doesn't bother me. With a new baby, sleep is a beautiful and rare thing. Once my head hits the pillow, I'm totally out.) Not obnoxious enough to disturb my sleep, however, I know some people would be completely bothered by this. Just thought I would share.
