Why the "just use soap" argument doesn't work for makeup on your face or brushes.
You know how you spend time and effort to find makeup that lasts. No matter how much you makeup you may wear, using long lasting makeup comes at a cost. You can't just rub some regular soap on your face to get that "all day mascara/eyeliner/foundation" off can you? It's the same with your brushes. This is coming from someone who really doesn't care to clean brushes. I only started using them about 7 years ago. It was 3 or so years after that I started trying to clean them. Rarely. And I thought vigorous scrubbing with hand soap was all you needed. It wasn't so I thought dish soap was all you needed. It still wasn't. I thought natural discoloration was inevitable for the lazy. Long story short, it turns out I was wrong and life is easy. Elbow grease for years was fine... until I got this stuff on a whim. The same brushes that were slowly permanently discoloring and fraying up had looked near new after my "initial" clean. I almost wish I took pictures but I I can only regret so much about a ~$5 brush cleaner.
