I was going to wait until I used it a couple of times, but I just checked myself out and I'm pretty shocked. Preface: I have combination skin with dark scarring from acne on my cheeks and ingrown hair scars across my chin and jawline. I stopped using similar masks as this because they would dehydrate my whole face. I've been looking for a more nourishing mask and decided to try this out (after hesitating over the price for awhile). It arrived yesterday and I tried it with my nighttime routine last night. I had a breakout on my right cheek and wanted to clear it up. I put it on - I recommend moving a bit quickly because it starts to dry pretty quickly. I'm not used to clay masks so I took my time, but it didn't cause any issues. There was strong tingling across my face and the mask gets pretty firm (like you can feel parts of your face pulsating kind of tight), not so much as to cause alarm though and it calms down once it's completely dry. I rinsed it with a washcloth (Pro tip: Don't wear a black shirt and have a stash of yellow rags to spare your other ones from the turmeric. Sis will linger on your stuff and nobody wants that lol). Not only did the mask snatch my whole breakout, it snatched up ALL the fussy ingrown hairs on my chin, even a particularly fussy one that turned sore (you can kinda see it in the picks). And my face was noticeably more even in a way that I still don't know how to adequately explain. I've never gotten results remotely close to this with any kind of mask. And this is after ONE USE! Full disclosure, I did my usual routine after (vitamin c serum, calendula essence, and overnight rice mask), but the difference was apparent before even applying those. The before pic is from last night after rinsing the mask off and the after pic is from a few minutes ago, so a bit over 12hrs in between. I'll update as I keep using it. The 4 stars is just because I only used it once and, honestly, for the price. I was expecting a larger size because of that honestly. But I might just have to put up with it with results like this.
