I bought this primarily to hola at the fly ass honeys on the sidewalk or heckle degenerate transients from the comfort and safety of my locked SUV. Lets be honest, there is not legitimate reason for a good Christian boy to have a PA mounted to a civilian vehicle. But if you are here reading this then you are probably no stranger to wasting money on toys for your rig. That makes us kin. I installed this inside the bumper of my 4runner. I'm powering it with a Cobra mini CB(that I also don't need) and it works great! I have had it installed for about 4 months and have seen all kinds of weather. The way I installed this it is shielded from most of the water and debris the tire would throw at it but it still sees a fair amount of moisture and road grime. Hasn't seemed to phase it. I was a little worried that being inside my bumper the sound would be muffled but it is pretty loud. I'm able to yell profanities at buddies ahead of me on the trail and they can hear me loud and clear. Just to straitin' out some of the bone heads that have been reviewing this, you do have to run it through some kinda amp. PA out on a CB will work perfectly. I hooked it up to my phone as soon as i got it and guess what, it was super quiet... doubt your phone or iPud is cranking out 15amps through the headphone jack. So there's that. This is a toy with essentially zero practical uses and like a billion impracticable uses. Come on dude, Buy it.
