My kids Buzz Lightyear power wheel has a proprietary 6v battery that went bad. I wanted to upgrade the battery so I started looking into using a standard 12v battery instead. I ordered this battery. In order to make the battery work with the power wheel, I had to cut the old battery connectors out and install quick disconnects as well as an in-line 30amp car fuse. Luckily there was enough room under the seat for the new battery so I did not have to cut any molding to get it to fit. The old battery was about half the size of this one. This battery has been awesome. Not only is the power wheel significantly faster, but the battery now lasts all day on a single charge. The battery in this case is located under the seat and requires removing a long screw to get at it. Because this battery holds more energy than the old battery, I do not have to remove the battery to charge it as often. I usually have to charge it about once a week now instead of after every time my kid uses it. I have been very happy with this battery and would highly recommend upgrading your 6v to 12v. Just do not forget to add an in-line fuse to the positive wire going to the battery if you are going to upgrade.
