I would like to first start off on a positive note by saying this is a beautifully made piece that i am very happy to have purchased. It arrived in perfect condition and it was packaged thoughtfully with plenty of protection... the directions for it were clear enough to figure out and everything.. it was incredibly heavy for me tho.. Im a single girl and it took a bit of doing for me to just get it inside of my house... lol. I just took the entire assembly slow and easy and didnt try and rush it .. and I was able to do it. Now for the cons.. and also the reason i say this item is tricky is because there is a bit of deception in the way this is advertised. In the amazon picture it does in fact appear to be more of a headboard than just an actual wall hanging...if you look you will notice that they have staged this thing to seem that it would stand on its own away from the wall.. it in no way shows that it will be hanging on the wall seperate from the bed.. and i bought this thinking that it would be this way for me too. So yeah the way they have advertised it is tricky! Its a bit dishonest imo. If you look even closer at their picture you will see that they have positioned it on planks. So I have decided to go to the hardware store and put even more money into this by purchasing some type of boards or board to mount the panels to and actually make this thing into a headboard! Its going to take some doing and probably a bit more money tbh to make this thing into what is actually advertised above. Is it a headboard or is it a wall hanging ? ? lol... well its both .. but I cant deny that it is absolutely beautiful and that im going to make it work for me.. I will update this review once i get the hardware and everything i need and get this sucker up so you can see the outcome.
