The pics show install on top of bed frame which creates a gap under the mattress. Several others complained about this and added books or blanket in the gap to keep their mattress from sagging. We installed it under the frame and added zip ties for extra security. So far so good. Also, we had to raise the bed frame one notch to allow some room to lower the bar. I don’t think we will use that feature at all.
