Here's the deal. I like black olives. I've demolished my wife's electric opener and sent three manual can openers to the junk pile. Lindsay (of Lindsay olives) uses cans that must have been recycled from Sherman Tanks. Honestly, they're damn near impossible to open. So, after breaking the turning handle on the last opener, I hit the internet and searched for "the mother of all can openers". I actually looked forward to trying it out and it was a thing of beauty. Cut through the top of the can like slicing warm butter. It's pretty hard to get excited about a thing like a can opener but (hey, I'm 65 and excitement is hard to find) this did it. It now has a place of honor in our cutlery drawer. The name "Made in USA" reminded me we use to make the best and this brings it all back. Need a can opener? This is (without any doubt) the best damn can opener ever. That includes elecric as it's almost effortless. Again, ten stars and I hope the company will consider making cars!
