I bought it cuz it was cheap. Never used one of these before. Stuck in about 2 ounces of normal wash soap (chemical guys citrus something or another), fiddled with the dial a little bit and got some great foam out of it. I can’t see spending more on something else. This works fine. Half the complaints are operator error.
