Eradicating Fungus Gnats
Would definitely recommend for fungus gnats. These are working well for me so far. I’ve caught far more on these traps than I did in my previous DIY traps. I have them hanging at multiple points in my room. Remember, each gnat can lay 100-200 eggs each if given the chance. By that logic, it’s saved me from THOUSANDS more gnats in just a single week. A little tip for anyone dealing with fungus gnats who is buying these traps: get a disposable cup(I recommend plastic so it doesn’t leak all over your house) , fill it part way with mostly apple cider vinegar (about three table spoons), (preferably unscented, but any should do ok) dish soap, and a bit of water(about 1-2 tablespoons of the soap water solution). Mix thoroughly. Cut one of these sticky traps in half, take one side of the backing off, press and wrap it around the inner rim of the cup so it is adhered, remove the other layer of backing. Place by your plants or around your house. These DIY baited sticky cup traps are working really well for me. Remember, when it comes to pests, it’s best to take multiple precautions and treat your plants/source of the problem too if you can!
