Make sure the surface you want to use with these is smooth.
I would give these hooks 5 stars if they adhered to more types of surfaces. They look nice and I would rather use them more than the 3M kind, but they only adhere to smooth surfaces and the apartment we live in has no completely smooth surfaces. Everything is textured in some way so we had to get the 3M kind. If you have smooth surfaces, I will bet they would work and look great. There is no defect of this product, it's just good to know before purchasing.
