They said it couldn't be done
As the paint on the hood of my car has been MIA since I purchased it, I decided it was time to ride in style. A proper car wrap material would have cost me upwards of $75. Look at my car — does it look like I can afford that? Does my car look deserving of such high end material? $6 contact paper came to my rescue. For the low price of $12 (ish) and the most FRUSTRATING application known to car hoods (only because this is created for flat surfaces and the hood of my car is anything but) my car is now easily located in even the most congested parking lots. My friends see me coming down the road from miles away. No more "Did I just see you driving down X Road??" texts, no. They know it's me. Hands down the best $12 (ish) (2 rolls required) I have invested in this ugly little car. It's probably never going to peel off without completely stripping the paint from my hood and has withstood heavy rain, wind, and dirt. The real test will be the summer heat, but I doubt even that could destroy this stuff. Highly recommend.
