Before I give my 2 cents, I'd like to mention a things: 1) For those who feel they've been misled with the product, read the whole ad. Nowhere does it say that it is cotton or that it comes with 4 pillow cases, etc. 2) I inspect my purchases as soon as I get them. So if I find flaws, I can send it back. 3) I'm not a rep for Amazon or any of its affiliates. Just trying to save a buck like everyone else. Now for my 2 cents. I'm giving them/it 4 stars for 3 reasons only: 1) Color availability. I wanted black at the time, but had to wait a couple of weeks. 2) The flat sheet area is not big enough to tuck in three sides. 3) They stain. For the "active" sleeper, bodily fluids do not wash out easily. For $25, one can have a backup set. The fitted sheet could be deeper, but serves my purpose. My mattress is just over 17" thick. I don't know what 1500 count cotton feels like, so I won't try to make a comparison. It's soft and smooth, almost a silky texture. The most impressive is I don't feel hot while I'm sleeping. It's not a bad price. Again, you can always send it back. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading.
