I bought the Harperton Nail Clipper Set from Amazon - a bit pricey, but the customer rating was pretty high and there were a good number of reviews, so I made the purchase. The clippers (large & small) appeared well built, and worked very well out of the package. The cutting edges on both the large & the small clippers were very well aligned and sharp, making quick and easy nail cuts. No ragged edges whatsoever. Both sizes have a radiused cutting edge, which is fine with me - I do not like a toe-nail clipper that has a straight cutting edge. Shortly after I bought these clippers, I discovered the reason for the large number of very good reviews: the company offers a 'back-up' set of clippers if you give review feedback. Now they don't say you have to leave GOOD feedback, but I figured most people who took advantage of the offer would be positive - which worried me that the quality might not be as good as it appeared to be according to the reviews. I can honestly say that my assumption then was way off-base. After two full years of use, these clippers perform pretty much the way they did when brand new - crisp, quick cuts with no ragged edges. And on top of the good performance, they have a lifetime warranty. Best set of clippers I've ever owned. Pay a little more, and get what you paid for.
