I Just HAD to come and update my review! I bought this after researching indoor antennas and deciding to cancel my Direct TV. First, let me tell you that I’ve been paying 90.98 for Direct TV every month. (And no, that doesn’t include the internet!). Okay, so, let’s get my geographical information out of the way first, just in case that helps any of you decide to buy this antenna. I live in West Monroe, Louisiana. That’s in the northeast portion of my state. Two years ago I decided to cancel my cable and buy a couple of indoor antennas. The one in the living room received NO channels. The one in my bedroom received two very fuzzy channels. Ugh! I took them back and got my hard earned money back. :). Fast forward to almost two weeks ago when I finally decided to cancel again. I researched almost every single indoor antenna I could find on amazon and this one had the best reviews. I paid about 25.00 for this flimsy little see through antenna. It arrived in two days. I hooked it up and scanned my tv on antenna mode and it got 3 channels. I put it up really high on my wall, re-scanned it and I got 6 channels. (Three PBS channels, Fox, Bounce, and Grit). So, I’m sitting here today and I decide to read the pamphlet in the box that my antenna came in. (My son had hooked it up, so, I didn’t look at anything in the box.). I saw that it said it included 13ft or coax cable. I didn’t realize that! I walked over and inspected the cord, and sure enough, I have 13 feet! So, I ran it over and placed it in a window and re-scanned my TV. This time I got SEVENTEEN clear as Day channels!! 17!! I now have ABC, CBS, and NBC, plus many more. I have all seventeen channels that are available in my local area! I am thrilled! I had already ordered another one for my bedroom and cannot wait for it to arrive on Wednesday. This antenna is phenomenal. One more thing that may be useful to some of you. I live in a mobile home, and I just read in the pamphlet that this antenna will NOT benefit those living in mobile homes or those with metal roofs. NOT TRUE! This antenna works wonderfully in my mobile home with a metal roof!
