I don't know why it took so long, but I am very pleased to be able to listen to Sirius XM on my Fire. Having had Sirius in my car, on my iPod and in the house on our Sonos system for quite a while, it's good to have one more option with good sound. For anyone who is unclear about what this is: You do have to have not only a basic Sirius XM subscription in order to use this app but also the internet option which is about $3 per month extra. Only the app is free! The app works smoothly, does everything it's supposed to and has all the features available on its iPod version. Sirius should incorporate alarms and a sleep timer into this app. Sonos has this feature which can be used with any of the channels, including Sirius, and it is very nice!
