Me and my wife usually use the vicks humidifier but never really saw the difference it had from other humidifiers because we always had bad allergies. Vicks had a type of menthol soothing liquid we had to keep buying to pour over our vicks humidifier but didnt really see any difference, this humidifier was so much better and saw a difference in how it helped us with our sinus allergies. Not noisy at all and looked alot better in our room decor then other humidifiers had. Had a better effectiveness to our breathing and stuffy nose allergies as well. Very easy to use and great price for gifts to family members.
