I purchased two heavy duty scissor jacks from Amazon. The first one boke the first time I used it. The second one was too hard for me to turn by hand and even my impact gun had a hard time with it. So I decided to buy this one and I'm glad I did. It is sturdy, quick, and easy to use. It goes up fairly high, it never slipped, and it never lowered while I was using it. I left my nephew's car lifted overnight and it didn't lower at all. I was able to change the strut on his car easily and without worry.
