It looks cool and adds a wow factor when you turn on your TV - especially in a darkened room. As mentioned in other reviews you get 4 pieces of LED strip which allow you to go along both sides (1 each side) and 2 along the top. The kit was easy to install and the remote works well from across the room - in our case about 8-9 feet from couch to TV. The family likes the ability to change the background color depending on our mood and what we are watching. Also like the fact that it doesn’t require to be plugged into a wall. Just plug it into one of the TVs USB ports and you are good to go. I used regular scotch tape to position the strips and test everything out first. I kept it this way for a few days to be sure we were going to keep them on this TV. After I got thumbs up from the rest of the family, I removed the adhesive backing and put the strips in place permanently.
