If you want your car with leather interior (or cloth seats I guess) to smell like it did when the leather was brand new, this product is what you need and want to use. If you really want a lasting leather scent in your car, you'll need to do this properly. We've used many methods and one is seriously excellent. My son's do this for car dealers all the time. Especially in cars/trucks that have been smoked in. HOW TO USE IT PROPERLY FOR LONG LASTING SMELL. EFFORT IS ZERO.. TIME TO DO IT RIGHT IS AROUND TWO HOURS. READ THE STEPS BELOW. Before you get started, spray a patch of your vehicles carpet in an inconspicuous area such as above the brake pedal. We've never seen it stain carpet, but check to be sure. Proceed below if it doesn't stain your carpet. 1. In the sun (if possible) Start your vehicle, and Roll down all the windows. 2. Turn on your AC to full blast. Once the engine is warmed up, or about ten minutes has gone by, switch the AC to recirc/recirculating mode on the AC controls. Keep it on full blast/high. 3. Now Try to locate your "intake" vents for the AC recirc. Usually near the floor around the hump or underneath the dash and usually on both sides of the vehicle. 4. Once you have located the approximate area of the air intakes, roll up the windows completely and spray 2-4 sprays of the leather scent spray on the carpet in various areas next to or near the air intakes, which are usually located on both sides of the vehicle. (note that if you can't locate any air intakes, simply spray 2 sprays under the dash on the carpet on both sides of the vehicle and 2 sprays under both front seats and continue the following steps. 5. Leave car running and AC blasting on recirc. Again, be sure windows are now UP. Over the next couple of hours, you'll leave the vehicle running, AC blasting and repeat the above steps every half hour or so. After first treatment, now use only ONE full spray of scent. You'll repeat this 4 more times. It's important to do this within 2 or 3 hours time. Don't wait more than 30 minutes between re sprays and don't shut off the AC. You can walk away while you wait between applications. Watch the time, though. 6. When finished, park/leave the car in the sun if possible, leave windows up and let the vehicle sit for a while. When you come back to the car and open the door, you won't believe it... NOTE - Repeat all the above once more in 5 days if you want the scent stronger. After that, you won't need to bother with this again for a couple of months. I'm in NO WAY sponsored by this company.
