Good but not great yet, still needs something
I don't normally write reviews but I believe this game could become really good. For those of you who didn't know this group is very small compared to other companies like King and Zynga. They are the developers of Virtual Villagers that first started out as a PC game before mobile games became so popular. I have played this game just over two weeks.
For right now the game is still some what interesting. I am working on my last capital project the beach. This game is more for the people who wants to take the slow road. You can upgrade your house and decorate how ever you want and when you get high enough you can buy different clothing for your mayor. You really do not have to spend any money as long as you have patience.
For those who want to make more money.
-level up (the more people you have the more money you make on special events. Right now ever special event for me is from $800 to $1100 and I get about three a day
-catch ever bug that you can and sell them after you have given one to the museum
-if you have the time and you want to catch more bugs once you have caught all of them, exit and come back on after a few seconds to a minute and you will have a bunch more to catch
-invest in the ordinances they will save you money
-start on the bridge first for your capital project if you can, then move onto the cave
-the cave will give you five mineral s every new day and three bugs ever time you come back on
The minerals are usual at least two rare, and a mix of common and uncommon
-don't focus on up grading your house right away
I store 3 of each kind of minerals in my house in case one of the citizens ask for it
For me what I want to see improved is a list or something that lets me know I have an item that needs to go into the museum and what I need to be on the look out for. Instead of going to the museum every time I have something I'm iffy on.
More things to do.
Events I could put on to make the citizens happy.
Improve the dialog when talking to the citizens. The majority are down right rude and are never grateful.
The ability to asked the citizens if there's anything they want added to the community.
So far for plants I have the four or five you can buy seeds of and the blue rose. For some reason I have not gotten any other new plant combos. So make that somewhat easier.
I don't quite like that I have to have a new mayor ever 13 days or so.
Also when they hit 60 and retire their faces look way older than 60.
Last Day of Work if you are reading this I would love if you could come up with a new Virtual Villagers game. Something that you can keep on adding to with new sections of islands, things that will keep people interested.
Hopefully this helps some people. It's not a bad game it just something more.
