My kids love this stuff and it has not YET seemed to stain anything.... A couple of warnings: Do NOT buy this if you do not want your kids coloring your hair. My kids think its some of the best fun in the world to make me look like a rainbow. Also, try not to freak out too bad when you forget it is in your hair and you take a shower and the water runs off your head in some crazy color. I thought the grudge was in my shower trying to kill me at first and almost had a heart attack. It was not the grudge though. It was the hair chalk.
