Absolutely in love with the result! I'm so glad i chose this contact paper instead of others on Amazon that looked less realistic to me. It's beautiful and realistic, even up close. I got a wide enough roll that i could do the countertops in one solid piece so it would look like a real slab and i caulked all the seams for a flawless finish. My tips for installation include some basic contact paper wisdom, and some i discovered along the way. First instead of cutting around the sinks and faucets (which i did in the guest bathroom - HUGE pain) i found it was easier to remove them first, so i had a flat surface to work with. Then i measured and cut my paper, leaving a margin of error. Spraying the surface and or the back of the paper with water really helped me get it in place before using a credit card to smooth it into place. I used a craft razor blade tool to trim the edges, and a heat gun on low helped me massage it around the corners for a crisp edge. Oh! And i wanted a permanent setup so i used this supertape (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00161UQOC?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title) on the edges of the countertops where the contact paper would end for serious adhesion, before spraying with water and applying. Durability-wise it is a waterproof contact paper so with the seams caulked there shouldn't be any issues. My only concern is that, due to the nature of contact paper, it is susceptible to dents and scratches from rigid objects. I am considering brushing on a thin layer of glossy water based poly to fix this potential problem before it arises.
