This stuff is absolutely amazing!!! I’ve been wanting tattoo #5 but honestly just wasn’t up for the pain as this one was going to have lots of detail & coloring. So I slathered this stuff on about 2 1/2 hours before my appointment & wrapped my arm in Saran as the other reviews stated. I took it off right before walking into the shop & unlike most other reviews I could feel my arm was numb. To be specific my bicep muscle was completely numb where this stuff was so this stuff penetrates deep! If it’s just on a skin/bone spot I could understand not really being able to feel it as I didn’t exactly feel it lower where there’s less muscle. It took about 30 minutes before we actually started the tattoo from when I took the cream off & when my artist started. The gun turned on & there I laid just waiting for skin contact... & waiting & waiting... & then I realized “holy crap I really can’t feel anything”. I just sat there talking, texting & watching like nothing was happening. It was a magical tattoo experience & I never want to go back to the old way!!!
