Shut up and take my money!
First off, this was incredibly quick an painless to assemble. TLDR; this is a good sleep solution. I bought this one bleary-eyed night or day after my 7 day old baby had literally kept me awake for a week. She decided she would not sleep in the pack n play, so I was desperate for a solution (and some sleep). I googled "best bassinets" and this one was on there. A quick browse through some articulate reviews and I went for it. My baby slept in a 2 hour block the first night in this thing, and that was enough to give me hope. I do agree with some other reviews that the swaying motion is not gentle and rather jerky, but this doesn't seem to be a problem for us so far. I also wish that the vibration was a little stronger, but I honestly can't tell if it makes a difference or not, I just turn it on every night. I like that it comes with a crib sheet, so that's one less thing to worry about. I stuffed a flat hospital receiving blanket between the pad and the sheet to make it a little more cozy. I also set a heating pad on there for a few minutes before putting baby to bed so it warms up nicely, and I do think that makes a difference. I like the small extras like music, sounds, and the projection. The nightlight has been a huge help also. I do not like the mobile, it gets in the way when you're picking up a newborn and putting them back down 5x/night, so I just took it off. I sort of wish the unit would stay on longer but it seems to work well enough to lull the baby to sleep. My last minor gripe about it is that it's a little low. I'm 5'3" and my back is already hurting from it being too low. Hopefully this review made sense. It has been a great purchase for me and as a new parent desperate for sleep, it was absolutely worth the price. Oh it's pretty sturdy too, which is not easy to come by these days!
