These speakers, at the time of this writing, have an 84% 5 star rating here and they deserve it. Right out of the box, they are a WOW in sound and also looks (I purchased the black pair while they were on sale). Maybe overkill as a computer speaker, but I'm listening to them now and they sound incredible. In my home I have multiple stereo set-ups with Boston Acoustics, Klipsch, Polk and JBL speakers. These easily hold their own against anything else I have. I do have these attached directly to my PC (not by Bluetooth) in order to utilize the Maxx Pro Audio settings built into my PC and the combination is impressive. On lower volumes or loud , these are amazing for the price. I read countless reviews and did consider the similarly priced Bose Companion 20 which I auditioned but no way are those an equal to these. Maybe not cheap, but this is a purchase you will not regret. Edifier, a brand I have not heard of till I started looking for computer speakers, has created one helluva great speaker. Those cheaper 3 piece systems (which i did go into stores to listen to ) just do not sound a good as this 2 piece. The bass is phenomenal, vocals are clear. no complaints at all.
