After years on Amazon, I am finally writing my first review and it is for Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream with Clary Sage. Because this product is just that good. I need to disclose that I am not normally a Burt's Bees fan - I can appreciate their company ethos and their natural, paraben-free philosophy but I've had my various skin care regimes that have worked fine for me. However my gym started leaving a little basket of samples of this night cream in the locker room and after a couple of weeks of grabbing "just a couple more" I decided I better buy the darn jar. And I am so glad I did. The full size product lives up to the promise that the samples gave me. The consistency could be considered a bit light for a night cream but really, it is the perfect thickness to feel comforting for a night cream but not heavy or greasy like others I've used. It absorbs into skin like a dream and I can't stop rubbing my cheek after I've put it on - so soft! And the scent is comforting, soothing, and elegant in a natural way. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is happy and hydrated, but not oily at all - I don't even feel like I need to wash my face in the morning (like I've felt after wearing heavier creams at night). Would you believe that even after a long, hard day, the promise of putting this cream on will actually get me to wash my face before bed every night? With makeup remover and everything? It must be a miracle! Thanks, Burt's Bees. I just adore this cream.
