6/28/2021 New update after a year of using and abusing this mower: I am updating my review because this mower is a beast. After a year the battery’s still hold a charge and i still get over an hour of moving. It weighs almost nothing and is easy to clean and put away. I have bought more sun joe items since this mower blew my mind on cordless mowers. After a year I have only had to buy a new blade for it. (I have also updated my video to HD) ——————————————————— I am still so amazed at how good of a job this little mower does. I will start out saying it changed they way I look at electric battery operated lawn tools. The first thing I noticed when I started to use it is that it is so quiet. Am talking about having a peaceful mowing experience. I was able to still hear the birds chirping from the trees and even my wife from the garden. It starts up quick and is so easy to push and maneuver around. I just knew off that bat that this mower was going to be getting a review and a good one. Now for the details about the performance. With the battery’s charged I started a timer. I got my whole yard mowed and it still wasn’t dead. I ran it non stop for about 50-52 min with almost no loss in power at the end. See pictures for yard size. I also ran it really hard by cutting grass that was thick and tall. About 6 inches or so. I will also leave a picture of the mover next to the grass I was cutting. If it’s is really tall grass I would mow with the front wheels off the ground so that the clippings won’t clog up the housing. Then on the second pass I put it back down and it cut it up with no problems. (See video) Now in some of the other reviews I saw people say that it will not cut the grass low enough but it will and I posted pics. I first started with mowing a spot with it set all they the way up about 3inch cutting high. Then I did one row with it set all they way down #1 at about .5 inch. The left one in the picture and then I set it for 1inch #2 for the right side. It is also easy to adjust the deck height when needed. Over all this mower worked awesome and got the job done. The only somewhat con about it is that I’d dose not come with a discharge port for the grass clippings when mulching. So it can start to pack the grass up in the deck. But again I was cutting 5-6 inch tall grass that would even pack in on a gas mower. I noticed when I first got it that the grass catching bag had big crack but customer service helped me register it and get a replacement bagger. 10/10 on Support. This mower comes with a 2 year warranty that also include the 2 battery’s. You just can’t beat that. I will highly recommend this mover for anyone wanting a mind blowing experience.
