Great value, the most complete set I could find
I won't say much about the build quality and such other than to echo what others have said. Suffice it to say, I will almost certainly be buying more iFixit tools in the future. My contribution to the discussion is some info for people trying to decide WHICH iFixit driver kit to buy. I was trying to decide between the 48 bit driver kit (Mahi), the 64 bit driver kit (Mako), or the 112 bit driver kit (Manta). Specifically, I wanted to know if the Mahi and Mako kits, combined, contained all the bits in the Manta kit (because 48 + 64 = 112). And if they didn't have all the same bits, what bits would I be missing by going with one option or the other. This was even more interesting to me because the current price of the Mahi + Mako kits on Amazon is the same as the Manta kit, but you would get the 150mm flex extension too. (I'm prone to over-analyzing things, in case you can't tell.) So, I created a spreadsheet to compare the bits contained in each of the three product listings (screenshot attached). The red/green color code should obvious enough. The yellow is where the Mako kit contains Hex bit sizes that *technically* aren't in the Manta kit, but I colored them yellow because the Manta kit contains those sizes as Hex Security bits isntead. I actually think having the same sized security bits is generally more useful, especially since I have hex bits by the boatload, but I wanted to highlight that fact, in case it's important to someone. As you can see from the spreadsheet, the 112 bit Manta kit contains 15 bits that are not in either of the other two. This is because Mahi + Mako has quite a bit of overlap (sad face). Some of the missing bits aren't a big deal to me (I've got plenty of driver socket adapters, for example), but there are still 11 or 12 bits that might come in handy and would probably be difficult to find anywhere else. The only advantage I see in buying the Mahi + Mako kits is that the Mako comes with the 150 mm flex extension. But you can buy that separately on the iFixit web site. Here is a list of the bits contained in the Manta 112 bit set that are missing from the Mahi + Manta sets: 1/4" Driver to 3/8" Socket 1/4" Socket to 1/4" Driver Flathead - 3.5, 5, 7 mm Hex Security - 2, 2.5, 3,3.5 mm Hook Drive Nut Driver - 4.5 mm Pozidriv - PZ0 Square - 0 Triangle - 2.2, 2.6
