Got it for our kids bedroom and we have some very happy customers! Has a bunch of different settings, you can have a single color, flashing to different colors (would give me the biggest headache but they like it!) and smooth transition to colors. We've used it a bit and it's still working so no complaints with that. They love the remote and the ability to make the light change colors. The remote is a good incentive to stay in bed nicely after bedtime. The only thing is that the light itself is not so bright. If you're buying as a replacement for a regular lightbulb that's not going to work. It's good if you want a dim light sort of game room effect and for us, in my kids bedroom it makes them happy and we can always just keep the shades open so we're good. Just don't get with the assumption that it will provide equivalent to regular strength bulb. I'd say it's like a bright nightlight.
