I read the reviews before I bought this. I liked that it was steel rather than wood and that many people said it was sturdy. I saw a lot of people who thought it was hard to put together, but I found it to be very simple and straight forward. It took me about an hour to get it unboxed, sorted and assembled. My suggestions: 1. Separate the parts so the 'like' parts are together. 2. Assemble all four corners and set aside. 3. Assemble the middle cross bars. 4. Set the frame together and screw in each section. 5. Install the steel bars (literally just push in place) 6. Turn the box spring on its side and have a partner help you get the cover around it and zipped on. 7. Install the feet. 8. Lay back down. Like I said, super easy, but the directions aren't super clear. Very sturdy and well constructed.
