Simply said, it worked. I connected this device to a water heater in my vacation home. It was hooked up by my regular electrician in about 15 minutes. It worked first time and has worked every time. It is located about 10' from my SmartThings hub. I control it on my smart phone. A note to most reviewers: I see so many reviews, mostly of 1 or 2 stars. So often, the reason for the low rating was something other than directly associated with the product. Either it arrived late, the package was damaged, the delivery person was rude or that the receiver was simply wearing boxers that were to tight that day. OK, now understand this. We who check reviews before a purchase couldn't care less about the issues you have with almost anything other than those that relate directly with the product. These reviews are useless and waste space. If you're going to review a product, please give a concise review with good explanation if you can. Don't add spurious or non-relevant information. Those of us that value good reviews would appreciate it and you might too, in the long run. Thank you.
