Perfect for weighing cats and small dogs!
I run an animal rescue organization and needed a scale for my rescues. One of the specific reasons I purchased it now is because of one of my personal cats, Ninja. He recently had to have his front leg amputated due to cancer. Since there are always several cats in my household it is sometimes hard to know which cat ate and how much they ate. I need to keep a close eye on Ninja's weight especially, so I know if he's getting enough to eat. This scale works perfect for exactly what I need. I also need to be able to weigh all of my cats and small dogs so I know which size flea medication I need to apply to them. This scale is going to be a time saver (so I don't have to take anyone to the vet just to get weighed). But what this scale is going to do even more for me is to give me peace of mind so I'm not constantly worried about Ninja's food intake. I do feed him separately but he also has access to the food for the rest of the cats. This digital baby scale is larger than I expected, which is a good thing. My large cats and small dogs fit perfectly on it! I am absolutely thrilled with this scale and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an accurate scale to either weigh your pets or your human babies on. I love the curved design, which makes it comfortable for Ninja and all of my fur babies to lay down on. Btw, I weighed Ninja several times and each time it said the exact same weight, which is crucial. *Note* In the photos of Ninja the scale is reading 00.000, but only because he didn't feel like getting his picture taken so I pressed tare while he was on it and forgot to pick him up before I pressed tare. He laid down so I hurried up and snapped a couple of photos instead of picking him back up to show his weight. I thought it was important to show that he can lay down on it comfortably. For reference, the dog (Jack) that is in the photo is a Pomchi (Pomeranian / Chihuahua mix). I hope this review helps anyone who is looking for an accurate, large, comfortable scale for either pets or babies.
