This product saved my life, literally. The doctors in the ER were useless and incompetent. If you have any bleeding of any kind that needs to be stopped, THIS IS THE PRODUCT! I have never had a problem with my menstrual cycles ever. Then this last period lasted for 1.5 weeks and the last 7 days were hemorrhagic (bleeding profusely). I became so weak and dizzy, that I finally checked myself into the ER. They did blood tests on me. My blood loss was so severe, that my hematocrit measured to be only 7.1 (when it should be 14) I was given a 2 pints of blood via i.v. My hematocrit still never changed. It went from 7.1 to 7.3. The doctors were shocked. They had hoped my hematocrit would go from 7.1 to at least a 10. But it did not. The doctors gave me Provera (a hormonal drug) to stop the bleeding. IT DID NOT WORK! I KEPT BLEEDING PROFUSELY! I was bleeding at such a rapid rate, that every drop of blood I was receiving from the blood transfusions, I was bleeding out. What came in, bled out. Seriously. This is why my hemoglobin and hematocrit values did not go up. Then the doctors gave me 2 more pints of blood & tried to stop the bleeding with double dose of Provera. IT DID NOT WORK. I KEPT BLEEDING AND BLEEDING. I thought to myself, "I am going to die from blood loss. This is it. The doctors cannot save me." I was discharged in a WORSE CONDITION than when I came in. I could not walk let alone stand up. The blood was flowing like Niagra Falls. In a last ditch effort, I used YARROW. They recommend 6 pills/day. I took 18 pills all at the same time, at midnight (12 AM). I kept bleeding throughout the night as I slept. THEN 12 HOURS LATER, MY PERIOD STOPPED COMPLETELY. At 12 PM, MY PERIOD WAS STOPPED DEAD IN ITS TRACK. I am a bit teary eyed as I type this. I almost died b/c of the incompetence of my physicians. I felt so hopeless, helpless, weak, tired, scared and lonely. THIS PRODUCT SAVED MY LIFE. I am on my second day, taking about 15 pills/day, and my bleeding has completely stopped. But for about $4.00, I could have bought this and stopped the bleeding, vs. going to the ER and pay thousands of dollars just to be tortured and mistreated and still bleed to death. Literally. If you have any kind of bleeding that needs to be stopped dead in its track, this YARROW IS A LIFE SAVER!!!! I also want to express my appreciation to the Amazon.com community. Because of the "user reviews," this is how I knew to buy this product and save my life. I plan on taking 1) Vitex and 2) Red Rasberry Leaves, and 3) Source Naturals Natural Progesterone Cream, 4 Ounce (113.4 g) and also 4) Vitamin B6 and Vitamin E (also sold here on Amazon.com) to balance my hormones. To rebuild my blood and fight anemia, I also bought 1) MegaFood, Blood Builder and 2) Hema-plex. Also sold here on Amazon.com at a very good price. --------------UPDATE: Now the fourth day, and no bleeding. Stopped taking Yarrow on the fourth day b/c there is no more bleeding. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT! ---------- UPDATE: Sept 7, 2013- MegaFood Blood Builder did a nice job of curing my anermia! Took about 2-3 months. Also did a Vitamin B Complex and Vitamin B12 which increases Red Blood Cell production as well as 25 mg of Solgar B6 to build hemoglobin. Nature's Way Vitex and Nature's Way Red Raspberry leaves have kept my menstrual cycle NORMAL. They make sure that the estrogen is balanced with progesterone. Almost 1 year now and very normal periods. Never did do Progesterone Cream or oil, but am still considering. Also, if you have Estrogen Dominance, heavy menstrual cycles that last a long time, look into Nature's Way DIM plus and Life Extension Calcium D-Glucarate. They clean up the "bad" estrogen and keep the "good estrogen", reduce the risk of breast cancer, cervical cancer, prostate cancer, PCOS and fibroids, and help you lose weight. Excessive estrogen makes losing weight impossible. It has been suggested that excess estrogen increases the risk of bad menstrual cycles, fibroids, PCOS, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and cervical cancer. 2004 National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences has declared estrogen as a carcinogen.
