Pros and Cons, but not bad for the price.
I've been sewing for 45 years, and this dress form was a bit of a challenge. Here's the pros and cons: PROS: 1. It's not as expensive as a "professional" dress form. 2. Dials work well and make it easy to change measurements. 3. The covering is soft enough to pin to. 4. Unlike other reviewers, I found the stand to be stable enough to not be a problem. CONS: 1. The inch numbers on the dial seem to be a bit off. Use your measuring tape to get to a rough adjustment. After that, use a non-stretchy garment that fits you well and put it on her. Make final adjustments based on how a known well-fitting garment fits on your dress form. 2. She isn't made for us hour glass shaped girls. Getting a proper adjustment if there's a more that 4 inch difference between your bust-to-waist or waist-to-hip measurements is almost impossible. If you do have more than a 4 inch difference, you may need to buy a form closest to your smallest measurement, and then pad it out in fuller areas to compensate.
