I have had the mattress for about a month now trying to get a fair idea of how it is before leaving the review. I did A LOT of research on this mattress compared to other Zinus models as well as other brands both online and in stores. I am extremely happy and satisfied with my purchased and the great deal that I got on this mattress compared to other prices out there. If you are looking for a firm mattress, this is for you! Don't let the layer of memory foam on top of the coils turn you away, I am not a foam fan and this mattress is great. This is definitely "extra firm" and exactly what I was looking for. Shipping took a bit because I did not order on prime but delivery was convenient along with set up. When I positioned and started unwrapping the mattress, it expanded almost immediately. I did sleep elsewhere for the first night but probably could have slept on it. It does have a bit of a chemical smell when first unwrapped but it quickly dissipates. I set this up on the Zinus smart base and attached my own headboard. Exactly what I was looking for and affordable. Headboard/base/mattress for about $500. I have yet to see how it holds up long term but am hoping for the best. I really think this whole "bed in a box" concept is the next big thing!
